Course Description

This course, “Quantitative Research Methods in Social Sciences,” provides foundational knowledge and practical skills in applying quantitative research methods to explore and address social science questions. Designed for students, professionals, and researchers across various social science disciplines, the course emphasizes research design, sampling techniques, measurement and data collection, descriptive and inferential statistics, and their practical application to solve real-world societal challenges. By integrating theory with practice, learners will develop the ability to critically assess and conduct rigorous quantitative studies, with a focus on ethical considerations and cultural sensitivity in social science research.
